Putin To China: Will You Be My Bitch?

Beijing in an awkward position!

The world is at a crucial turning point as we wait for China to decide whether it allows Russia access to its military power. The Russian president Vladimir Putin has put China in a very awkward position after asking Beijing overnight for military equipment and support to sustain his invasion of Ukraine.

It is, thankfully, the first real sign that the imposed sanctions on Russia are starting to bite. It is highly unusual for a narcissistic psychopath, such as Putin, to ask for help; their ego is, just, too fragile for that. Putin would have never gone to China if sanctions had not impacted his invasion plans. Both Russia and China have, of course, denied such allegations.

As the world anxiously awaits the next move by China, we must not forget that last month, when Vladimir Putin held talks with Xi Jinping during the Winter Olympics, the pair made some very bold statements about their union. They stated that there was a new era in the global order, and crucially their friendship, a friendship between their two states, had no limits. They, jointly, agreed to, officially, state that.

The extraordinary efforts of the far inferior Ukrainian military and, of course, the hundreds of thousands who have joined the peoples’ army have slowed the Russian land invasion tremendously…
